On September 28, 2026, Circle K, online card-draw platform Cardz.game and YAICHI came together at the Circle K store on Tung Kok Road in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, to launch “Card Draw for Everyone”, marking the start of their three-way collaboration.
The event attracted members of the public and card enthusiasts, with a total of 1,000 card packs given away free on the day so more people could experience the fun of opening packs and collecting cards.
Collectible cards such as Pokémon and One Piece have continued to attract interest across Asia in recent years. Card culture has also gradually grown beyond traditional collectors and player communities to reach a wider entertainment audience.
Through its collaboration with Circle K and YAICHI, Cardz.game hopes to bring the online and offline worlds closer together, taking the card-draw experience from card shops, exhibitions and online platforms into the convenience stores that Hong Kong consumers visit every day.
The extensive convenience-store network gives consumers a simpler, more direct way to discover card culture, making card draws an experience anyone can enjoy, not just an interest for seasoned players.
To launch “Card Draw for Everyone”, the three partners held an in-person event at the Circle K store on Tung Kok Road in Causeway Bay, one of Hong Kong’s main shopping districts.
With Cardz.game-themed displays and interactive experiences, the event offered a total of 1,000 free card packs to visitors, giving more people a direct taste of the anticipation and surprise that comes with opening a pack.
Everyone could take part, from newcomers discovering cards for the first time to enthusiasts with an established collection.
The event also marked a further step in bringing Cardz.game’s online card-draw experience into Hong Kong’s physical retail spaces.
The collaboration brings together the strengths of all three partners.
Circle K provides a physical retail network that reaches deep into Hong Kong’s neighbourhoods; YAICHI brings an extensive membership and consumer community; and Cardz.game connects physical card collecting with online experiences through its card-draw platform and digital gameplay.
Together, the three partners hope to create a more accessible, everyday introduction to card culture. Consumers can discover cards at a convenience store, then go on to explore online card draws, collecting and different ways to play.
For Cardz.game, the collaboration is also an important step in expanding its offline presence.
Cardz.game continues to explore the possibilities between physical collectible cards and digital experiences. With “Card Draw for Everyone” now launched, the platform plans to keep working with retail and brand partners to bring card culture to more cities and more everyday shopping settings.
From a card draw on a phone to a physical pack at a convenience store, Cardz.game hopes to make card collecting an entertainment experience that more people can easily enjoy.
The September 28 event in Causeway Bay is just the beginning.
With Circle K × Cardz.game × YAICHI’s “Card Draw for Everyone” officially underway, the three partners will continue exploring new ways to connect online and offline experiences, bringing more card experiences to players and consumers.
